Eligibility Criteria (as on 17-01-2026)

Educational Qualification: * Development Assistant: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks (Pass Class for SC/ST/PWBD/EXS).
- Development Assistant (Hindi): Bachelor’s Degree in English/Hindi medium with Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subjects OR Bachelor’s Degree with Hindi/English as main subjects with at least 50% marks.
Age Limit: 21 to 35 Years.
- (Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PWBD as per Government rules).
Local Language: Proficiency in the local language of the state/office applied for is mandatory.

Selection Process

Preliminary Examination (Phase-I): Objective Type (100 Marks).
Main Examination (Phase-II): Objective + Descriptive English (200 Marks).
Language Proficiency Test (LPT): Qualifying in nature (for those who didn’t study the local language in 10th/12th).
