UPSC Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2026 Notification Out
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially released the notification for the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2026. This recruitment drive aims to fill 933 vacancies in various Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’ services, including the IAS, IPS, IFS, and IRS.

Eligibility Criteria (As on 01.08.2026)

Educational Qualification: A candidate must hold a Graduate Degree from any recognized university in any stream. Candidates appearing in the final year of graduation are also eligible to apply.

Relaxation: SC/ST (5 years), OBC (3 years), PwBD (10 years).

Selection Process
The UPSC CSE consists of three successive stages:

Stage I: Preliminary Examination (Objective Type) – Scheduled for May 2026.

Stage II: Main Examination (Written/Descriptive Type).

Stage III: Personality Test (Interview).
