Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has announced the recruitment of Senior Executive Trainees (SET) for the year 2026. This recruitment is conducted under the Direct Recruitment (DR) category for both Telecom and Finance streams. Pay Scale (E-3 Grade): ₹24,900 – ₹50,500 (IDA Pattern).

Eligibility Criteria (As on 07.03.2026)

Age Limit: 21 to 30 years.

Relaxation: OBC-NCL (3 years), SC/ST (5 years), PwBD (10-15 years).

Educational Qualification:
-
SET (Telecom): Full-time B.E./B.Tech degree with minimum 60% marks in Electronics & Telecommunication, Electronics, Computer Science, IT, Electrical, or Instrumentation.

SET (Finance): Must be a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost & Management Accountant (CMA).

Exam Pattern & Selection Process
The selection is based purely on a Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by Document Verification and a Medical Examination. There is no interview for these posts.

Part-I (Aptitude): 40 Questions (40 Marks) – Common for all.

Part-II (Technical): 160 Questions (160 Marks) – Stream-specific.

Total Duration: 180 Minutes (3 Hours).

Negative Marking: 0.25 marks deducted for every wrong answer.

Qualifying Marks: 40% in each part and 50% aggregate for General/EWS; lower for reserved categories.
