Punjab PSTET 2026 Online Form

The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Punjab, has released the official schedule and notification for the Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test (PSTET) 2026. This examination is mandatory for candidates aspiring to become Primary (Classes I-V) and Upper Primary (Classes VI-VIII) teachers in government and government-aided schools across Punjab.

Application Fee

The fee varies based on the category and the number of papers you choose to appear in:

Eligibility Criteria

  • Paper I (Primary): Senior Secondary (12th) with at least 50% marks + 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed). (Graduates with B.Ed can also apply as per NCTE norms).

  • Paper II (Upper Primary): Graduation + 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education OR Graduation with 50% marks + 1-year B.Ed.

  • Age Limit: Minimum 18 years. No upper age limit is prescribed for PSTET eligibility.
