College Librarian: Master’s Degree in Library Science (55% marks) + NET/SLET/SET or Ph.D.

Section Officer: Bachelor’s Degree + 3 years experience as Assistant or 8 years as UDC.

Assistant: Bachelor’s Degree + 3 years experience as UDC.

Professional Assistant: Master’s in Library Science OR Bachelor’s in Library Science + 2 years experience.

UDC: Bachelor’s Degree + 2 years experience as LDC + Typing (35 wpm English / 30 wpm Hindi).

LDC: Bachelor’s Degree + Typing (35 wpm English / 30 wpm Hindi) + Computer Proficiency.
Age Limit (as of 27.02.2026):

LDC/UDC: Maximum 32 Years.

Other Posts: Maximum 35 Years.

Relaxation: As per Central Government norms for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD.
