Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: Pass in SSLC (10th) and ITI – NTC (National Trade Certificate) in the relevant trade.

Experience: Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience or training in the relevant trade (Shipyard experience is preferred).

Age Limit (as on 16.02.2026): Maximum 45 years. (Born on or after 08 February 1981).

Relaxation: OBC (3 years), SC/ST (5 years).

Salary & Remuneration

Monthly Consolidated Pay: ₹23,300
-
Extra Hours Compensation: Up to ₹5,830
-
Total Monthly Gross: Approximately ₹29,130

Contract Period: Initially for 3 years, extendable up to a maximum of 5 years based on project requirements.
Selection Process

Certificate Verification: Screening of documents and experience.

Practical Test: A 100-mark skill test conducted at CSL, Kochi. There is usually no written exam for these contract positions.
