The Office of the District & Sessions Judge, Patiala has officially invited offline applications for 48 posts of Clerk and Stenographer Grade-III. These positions are on an Ad-hoc basis (initially for 6 months or until regular appointments are made).

🎓 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) or Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) or equivalent from a recognized university.

Language Requirement: Candidates must have passed Matriculation (10th) with Punjabi as one of the subjects.

Skill Requirements: * Clerk: Proficiency in computer operations (Word/Spreadsheets) and passing the typing/written test.

Stenographer: English Shorthand speed of 80 WPM and Transcription speed of 20 WPM on a computer.

Age Limit (as of 01-01-2026): 18 to 37 years. (Relaxation for SC/BC/OBC as per Punjab Govt/High Court rules).

📂 How to Apply (Offline Process)

Download Form: Obtain the application proforma from the official website patiala.dcourts.gov.in.

Fill Form: Fill the proforma in CAPITAL LETTERS using a blue/black pen.

Attach Documents: Attach self-attested copies of educational certificates, DOB proof, Punjabi language proof, Category certificate (if any), and ID proof.

Photograph: Paste one recent passport-size photograph on the form.

Envelope: Put all documents in an envelope and superscribe it with:
“APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF [CLERK/STENOGRAPHER] ON ADHOC BASIS”
