Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualification:

Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institution.
Computer Proficiency: Must be proficient in Word Processing and Spreadsheets.
ICT Certificate: Possession of a Certificate of ICT Skills/CCC is mandatory (as per Chandigarh Administration rules).

2. Skill Requirement:

For Clerk: Typing speed of 35 WPM in English on a computer.
For Steno-Typist: Stenography (English) at 80 WPM + Transcription on Computer at 20 WPM.

Age Limit (as on 01/01/2026)

Minimum Age: 18 Years
Maximum Age: 27 Years (expected for General)
(Age relaxation for SC, ST, OBC, ESM, and PwBD candidates as per Chandigarh Administration/Govt. of India norms)

Selection Process

Written Examination: Objective-type test (MCQs) covering General Awareness, Reasoning, Arithmetic, and Language Proficiency.
Typing/Skill Test: Qualifying in nature; mandatory for the respective posts.
Document Verification: Merit-based checking of original certificates.
Medical Examination: Final fitness clearance.
