The Himachal Pradesh Rajya Chayan Aayog (HPRCA), Hamirpur, has released the official recruitment notification (Advt No. 07/2026) for Post Graduate Teachers (PGT). This recruitment is focused on Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Commerce subjects for schools affiliated with the CBSE scheme.

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Educational Qualification:

    • Master’s Degree in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/OBC/PwD of HP).

    • Professional Qualification: B.Ed. with minimum 50% marks.

    • TET Qualification: Must have passed the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) conducted by HPBOSE or an authorized agency.

  2. Language: Proficiency in teaching in both Hindi and English.

  3. Age Limit (as on 01.01.2026): 18 to 45 years. (Age relaxation applicable as per HP Govt rules).

  4. Bonafide Condition: Candidates who are not Bonafide Himachalis must have passed Matric and 10+2 from schools situated within Himachal Pradesh.

Application Fee

  • General / Other Categories: ₹800 (Exam Fee ₹100 + Processing Fee ₹700).

  • Correction Fee: ₹100.

Selection Process

  • Written/Computer Based Test (CBT): 120 Objective MCQs (120 Marks).

  • Duration: 1.5 Hours (90 Minutes).

  • Minimum Qualifying Marks: 45% for General, 40% for Reserved Categories.

  • Document Verification: Based on the merit list of the screening test.
