Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: Full-time BE / B.Tech / B.Sc (Engineering) or 5-year Integrated M.Tech with a minimum of 60% marks in the relevant discipline.

GATE Score: Candidates must have a valid GATE 2024, 2025, or 2026 score in the same engineering discipline as the qualifying degree.

Age Limit (as on 30.04.2026):

General / EWS: Max 26 Years.

OBC (NCL): Max 29 Years.

SC / ST: Max 31 Years.

Salary & Stipend
-
During Training: Monthly stipend of ₹74,000 + One-time book allowance of ₹30,000.

After Appointment: Candidates will be appointed as Scientific Officer-C (Group ‘A’) in the Pay Level 10 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix (Approx. CTC: ₹14 Lakhs per annum).
Selection Process

Shortlisting: Based on the GATE Score (Shortlisting ratio is 1:12).

Personal Interview: Final merit list is prepared based 100% on the Personal Interview performance (GATE score is only for shortlisting).
