Punjab Yoga Trainer Recruitment 2026
The Directorate of Ayurveda, Punjab, has released a notification for the recruitment of Yoga Trainers on a part-time/contractual basis under the National AYUSH Mission (NAM). These trainers will be posted at various AYUSH Health & Wellness Centres (AHWCs) across different districts of Punjab to promote health and wellness through Yoga.

Vacancy & Honorarium Details

Post Name: Yoga Trainer (Part-Time)

Total Vacancies: Multiple (District-wise distribution)

Remuneration: * Male: ₹8,000/- per month (fixed)

Female: ₹5,000/- per month (fixed)

Duty Hours: Maximum 32 hours per month (approx. 1-2 hours daily).
Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:
-
Primary: 10+2 (Senior Secondary) passed from a recognized board.

Technical: Certificate/Diploma in Yoga from a recognized University/Institute (minimum 6 months to 1-year duration).

Preference: Candidates with a Degree (B.Sc Yoga) or BNYS will be given preference.

Mandatory Condition:

Candidate must have passed Punjabi at Matriculation (10th) level.

Preference will be given to local candidates residing in the same block/district of the Wellness Centre.

Age Limit: 18 to 37 years (Relaxation as per Punjab Government rules for SC/BC).
Selection Process

Merit-Based Selection: Candidates will be shortlisted based on their academic marks and Yoga certification.

Skill Test/Interview: A practical demonstration of Asanas and a personal interview may be conducted.
