Conditions of Eligibility

Nationality: Only citizens of India (Male and Female).

Age Limit: 18 to 42 Years (as of 19 May 2026).

Educational Qualification: Graduate from any recognized university.

Employment Status: Must be Gainfully Employed. (Includes Government, Semi-Govt, Private sector, or Self-employed).

Physical Standards: Must be physically and medically fit in all respects as per Indian Army standards.

Height: Minimum 157.5 cm (Male).

Ineligible: Serving members of the Regular Army/ Navy/ Air Force/ Police/ GREF/ Para Military forces are not eligible.
Selection Process

Written Exam (CBT): A Computer Based Test consisting of one paper (Objective type).

SSB Interview: Intelligence and Personality Test (2-stage procedure).

Medical Examination: Conducted at a designated Military Hospital.

Subjects: Reasoning, Elementary Mathematics, General Knowledge, and English.

Total Marks: 100 | Duration: 2 Hours.

Negative Marking: 0.33 (for every wrong answer).

Qualifying Marks: Minimum 40% in each section and 50% aggregate.
