Eligibility Criteria (as of 01/01/2026)

Educational Qualification:

Degree: Bachelor of Law (LLB) from a recognized university.

Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience at the Bar is mandatory.

Punjabi Language: Must have passed Matriculation (10th) with Punjabi as a compulsory or elective subject.

Minimum: 18 Years

Maximum (General): 37 Years

Maximum (SC/BC Punjab): 42 Years

Salary & Pay Scale

Minimum Pay: ₹35,400/- per month (as per the 7th Central Pay Commission).

Additional allowances will be applicable as per Punjab Government rules after the completion of the probation period.
Selection Process

Written Examination: An objective-type (MCQ) test covering Law subjects and General Aptitude.

Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates from the merit list will be called for verification.

Medical Examination.
