The Office of the District and Sessions Judge, Mansa has officially invited applications for the post of Driver on an Adhoc basis. This recruitment is initially for a period of six months or until regular appointments are made by the Hon’ble High Court of Punjab & Haryana.

Vacancy Details

  • Post Name: Driver (on Adhoc basis)

  • Total Vacancy: 01 Post

  • Pay Scale: ₹21,700/- (Level 3) as per the 7th CPC.

Eligibility Criteria (as of 01.01.2026)

  1. Education: At least Middle pass (8th) with Punjabi as one of the subjects.

  2. Driving License: Must possess a valid L.T.V. (Light Transport Vehicle) license.

  3. Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in driving a car.

  4. Record: Should not have been convicted of any offence for negligent driving.

  5. Age Limit: 18 to 37 years. (Relaxation for reserved categories as per Punjab Govt. rules).

Selection Process

  1. Shortlisting: Based on eligibility and experience.

  2. Skill Test: Driving test to check proficiency.

  3. Interview: Personal interaction for final selection.

How to Apply (Offline Mode)

  1. Download Form: Get the prescribed application proforma (Annexure-A) from the official website mansa.dcourts.gov.in.

  2. Fill Details: Complete the form in CAPITAL LETTERS.

  3. Attach Documents: Attach self-attested photocopies of:

    • Proof of Date of Birth (8th/10th Certificate).

    • Educational Qualification certificates.

    • Valid Driving License (L.T.V.).

    • Experience Certificate (Min. 2 years).

    • Category Certificate (if applicable).

    • Two recent passport-size photographs (one pasted on the form).

  4. Envelope: Place the form in an envelope and super-scribe “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF DRIVER (ON ADHOC BASIS)”.

  5. Submission: Submit by hand or post to:

    Office of the District & Sessions Judge, Judicial Court Complex, Mansa – 151505.
