The Indian Air Force (IAF) has released the official notification (Advt. No. 01/2026) for the direct recruitment of Group ‘C’ Civilian posts at various Air Force Stations and Units across the country. This is a permanent central government opportunity for 10th and 12th-pass candidates.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

LDC: 12th Pass + Typing speed of 35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi on computer.

Hindi Typist: 12th Pass + Typing speed of 30 wpm in Hindi on computer.

Driver: 10th Pass + Valid Driving License for LMV & HMV + 2 years of driving experience.

Age Limit (as of 01.06.2026):

18 to 25 Years.

Relaxation: OBC (3 years), SC/ST (5 years), PwBD (10 years).

Salary Structure

Pay Level: Level-2 (7th CPC Pay Matrix).

Pay Scale: ₹19,900 – ₹63,200.

Total Monthly Salary: Approx. ₹33,000 – ₹36,000 (including allowances).
Selection Process

Written Test: Objective-type exam covering Reasoning, Numerical Aptitude, General English, and General Awareness.

Skill/Practical Test: Typing test for LDC/Typist and a driving test for Driver (Qualifying nature).
