The South East Central Railway (SECR), Raipur & Nagpur Divisions, has invited online applications from eligible candidates for engagement as Act Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961. This is a golden opportunity for ITI holders to gain practical training in the Indian Railways.

Divisions: Raipur Division, Wagon Repair Shop (Raipur), and Nagpur Division.

Trades: Welder, Turner, Fitter, Electrician, Stenographer (English/Hindi), Computer Operator (COPA), Health & Sanitary Inspector, Machinist, Mechanic Diesel, Refrigeration & Air Conditioner Mechanic, and more.
Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

10th Class pass (Matriculation) under 10+2 system or its equivalent with minimum 50% marks.

ITI Course passed in the relevant trade from a recognized institution (NCVT/SCVT).

Age Limit (as of 01.05.2026):

Minimum: 15 Years

Maximum: 24 Years

Age Relaxation: SC/ST (5 years), OBC (3 years), PwD (10 years).

Selection Process

Merit-Based: Selection will be done based on the average of marks obtained in both Matriculation (10th) and ITI examination (50% weightage to each).

No Written Test: There will be no written exam or interview for these posts.

Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will be called for DV and Medical Examination.
