The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS), Regional Office Chandigarh, has released an official notification for the recruitment of various Teaching (TGT, PGT) and Non-Teaching staff on a contract basis for the academic session 2026-27. This recruitment covers Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) across Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, and Chandigarh.

Non-Teaching Staff (Clerk/MTS/Attendant)	As per NVS Norms

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:
- PGT: Post Graduation in relevant subject with minimum 50% marks + B.Ed.
- TGT: Graduation in relevant subject with 50% marks + B.Ed + CTET Passed.
- Librarian: Degree in Library Science.
- Non-Teaching: 10th/12th/Graduation (depending on the specific post).
Age Limit (as of 01.07.2026):
- Maximum: 50 Years (for fresh candidates).
- Ex-NVS/Govt Employees: Up to 65 Years.

Selection Process

Merit List: Based on educational qualifications and professional experience.
Personal Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for a virtual or physical interview.
Document Verification: Verification of original documents at the Regional Office/JNV.
