- Competitive Written Examination
- Total Questions: 200

- Duration: 2 hours (2 hours 40 minutes for PwBD candidates with scribe assistance)
- Sections: General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, and English Language.
- Negative Marking: 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.
- Proficiency Test in Stenography
- Dictation: 10 minutes at 80 words per minute (English/Hindi).
- Transcription Time: 50 minutes for English, 65 minutes for Hindi.
The proficiency test is qualifying in nature, and the final merit list will be based on written examination scores.
