- Citizen of India
- Must possess Domicile/PRC of the State/UT indicated in the application (except Assam & specified categories)
- Matriculation or 10th Class pass from a recognized Board/University as on 01-01-2026
- NCC Certificate holders eligible for bonus marks (optional)
Age Limit (as on 01-01-2026)
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 23 Years (Born not earlier than 02-01-2003 and not later than 01-01-2008)
- Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- Ex-Servicemen: 3 years after deduction of military service

Instruction
- Read the examination notice carefully in both Hindi and English; the English version will be treated as final in case of any dispute.
- Submit the online application well before the last date to avoid website issues due to heavy traffic.
- Candidates without One-Time Registration (OTR) on the new SSC website (ssc.gov.in) must create a new OTR; old OTRs from ssc.nic.in are not valid.
- After creating the new OTR, candidates can fill out the online application; the new OTR will remain valid for future exams on the new site.
- Documents will be verified during DME by CAPFs, so applications are provisional; eligibility claims must match the submitted documents or candidature will be cancelled.
- Candidates claiming reservation (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/ESM or others) must ensure eligibility and possess valid certificates in the prescribed format.
- SC/ST/OBC candidates migrating to another state must choose whether to take reservation from their state of origin or apply as unreserved from the state of migration; this choice cannot be changed later.
- If opting for reservation from the state of origin, the candidate must provide details of both current domicile and origin, and produce a valid caste certificate from the origin state.
