The Central Bank of India (CBI) has announced a significant recruitment drive for 350 Specialist Officers on a regular basis. The positions are primarily for Marketing Officers (Scale I) and Foreign Exchange Officers (Scale III). Perks: In addition to basic pay, officers are eligible for DA, HRA, Medical Aid, Leave Fare Concession, and other perquisites as per Bank rules. The gross monthly salary for Scale I is approximately ₹70,000+.
Eligibility Criteria (As on 01.01.2026)
1. Marketing Officer (Scale I)

Education: Graduate degree with a 2-year full-time MBA / PGDM (Marketing specialization).

Experience: Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience (with at least 1 year in BFSI marketing/sales).

Age: 22 to 30 years.
2. Foreign Exchange Officer (Scale III)

Education: Graduate degree. Mandatory Certificate in Foreign Exchange Operations from IIBF.

Experience: Minimum 5 years as an officer in a Scheduled Commercial Bank (3 years specifically in Forex/Trade Finance).

Age: 25 to 35 years.
Selection Process & Exam Pattern
Selection is based on an Online Written Test (70% weightage) and a Personal Interview (30% weightage).
