Chandigarh International Airport Limited (CHIAL), a joint venture of the Airports Authority of India (AAI) and the Governments of Punjab and Haryana, has issued a fresh recruitment notification (No. 2/2026). Applications are invited for the post of ILHBS Screener (Fresher) on a fixed-term contract basis for a period of 3 years (extendable by 2 years).

Eligibility Criteria (as of 30.04.2026)

Educational Qualification:

Full-time Graduate from any recognized University.

Candidates must be able to speak and read English and Hindi (knowledge of local language/Punjabi is an added advantage).

Age Limit:

Maximum 35 years as of 30 April 2026.

Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC and Ex-servicemen as per Govt. guidelines.

Salary & Remuneration
-
Initial Consolidated Salary: ₹15,000/- per month.

Post-AVSEC Training: Once the candidate acquires the Basic AVSEC Certification (14-day training), the salary increases to ₹25,000/- per month.

Final Placement: On acquiring all requisite certificates, salary will be paid as per CHIAL norms for Certified Screeners.
Selection Process

Shortlisting: Based on marks and meeting the eligibility criteria.

Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an In-person or Video Conferencing (VC) interview.

Training: Selected candidates will undergo specialized aviation security training sponsored by CHIAL for the first attempt.
