The Indian Army has released the official recruitment notification for the year 2026 under the Agnipath Scheme. This recruitment drive is for various posts including Agniveer General Duty, Technical, Clerk, Tradesmen, and regular cadre posts like Nursing Assistant and Sepoy Pharma.

Eligibility Criteria (As on 01.10.2025)
-
Age Limit: 17.5 to 21 years for all Agniveer posts. (Candidates born between 01 Oct 2005 to 01 April 2009 are typically eligible).

Educational Qualification:
-
GD: 10th Pass with 45% aggregate and 33% in each subject.

Technical: 12th Pass (PCM) with 50% aggregate and 40% in each subject.

Office Asst/Clerk: 12th Pass (Any stream) with 60% aggregate and 50% in each subject.

Tradesmen: 8th or 10th Simple Pass with 33% in each subject.

Selection Process
-
Phase I: Online Common Entrance Exam (CEE).

Phase II: Recruitment Rally (Physical Fitness Test – 1.6km Run, Beam, 9ft Ditch, Zig-Zag Balance).

Phase III: Physical Measurement Test (PMT) & Adaptability Test.

Phase IV: Medical Examination.
