Steps to Check IB MTS Result 2026

Visit the official MHA website: mha.gov.in or the NCS portal.

Navigate to the “Vacancies” or “What’s New” section.

Click on the link titled “Result of Tier-I Exam for the post of MTS/Gen in IB”.

A PDF file containing the Roll Numbers of shortlisted candidates will open.

Press Ctrl + F and type your Roll Number to see if you have qualified.

Save or print the PDF for future reference.
Tier-II Exam Details
Candidates who have cleared the Tier-I exam are now eligible for Tier-II.

Tier-II Nature: Descriptive Type.

Content: Translation of a passage (500 words) from local language/dialect to English and vice-versa.

Admit Cards: Hall tickets for Tier-II will be released separately on the official portal.
