Oil India Limited (OIL), a Maharatna Public Sector Undertaking, has released the official recruitment notification (Advt No. HRAQ/REC-WP-B/26-125) for various Teaching and Librarian posts. These vacancies are for Oil India Higher Secondary Schools at Duliajan and Moran, and the Group Vocational Training Centre.

Eligibility Criteria (As on 07.03.2026)

  • Graduate Teacher (GT): Bachelor’s Degree in relevant subject (45% marks) + B.Ed. Must have passed Class 10 with Assamese as MIL/Elective (for specific posts) and be capable of teaching in Assamese and English.

  • Post Graduate Teacher (PGT): Master’s Degree in relevant subject (50% marks) + Bachelor’s (45% marks) + B.Ed. Capability to teach in English medium is required.

  • Librarian: Bachelor’s Degree in Library & Information Science from a recognized University/Institute.

  • Instructor: Class 10th pass + 3-year Diploma in relevant Engineering discipline + 5 years of post-qualification work experience in Oil & Gas/PSU/Govt sector.

  • Age Limit: 18 to 30 years (GT/Librarian), 18 to 32 years (PGT), and 18 to 35 years (Instructor). Relaxation as per Govt rules.

Selection Process & Exam Pattern

The selection will be based on a Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by Document Verification.

  • Part A: General Knowledge/Awareness & OIL India Ltd. (20% weightage)

  • Part B: Reasoning, Arithmetic/Numerical Ability & General English (20% weightage)

  • Part C: Subject Knowledge / Domain Specific (60% weightage)

  • Marking: No negative marking.

Application Fee

  • General / OBC: ₹200/- (+ applicable taxes)

  • SC / ST / EWS / PwBD / Ex-Servicemen: Nil (Exempted)

  • Payment Mode: Online (Net Banking/Credit/Debit Card).
