Eligibility Criteria

  • Soldier (General Duty): Class 10t/ Matric Pass with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject. For Boards following grading sys Min of D Grade (33-40) in Individual subjects or grade which contains 33% and overall aggregate of C2 grade or equivalent, corresponding to 45% in aggregate
  • Soldier (Clerk): 10+2/ Intermediate Exam Pass in any stream (Arts. Commerce, Science) with 60% marks in aggregate and minimum 50% in each subject. Securing 50% in English and Math’s/Accounts/Book Keeping in Class 12th is mandatory
  • Soldier Tradesmen (All tradesmen except House Keeper & Mess Keeper): Class 10th Pass, no stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored min 33% in each subject
  • Soldier Tradesmen (House Keeper & Mess Keeper): Class 8th Pass, no stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored min 33% in each subject

Physical Standards

For Male Candidates

  • Height: Minimum 160 cm
  • Relaxation: 157 cm for candidates domiciled in the Eastern Himalayan Region – Sikkim, Manipur, Tripura, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Assam, and Hill Region of West Bengal (Darjeeling & Kalimpong Districts).
  • Also applicable to Indian Domicile Gorkhas, Garhwalis, and Ladakhis.
  • Chest: Minimum 82 cm (expanded) and 77 cm (unexpanded).
  • Weight: Proportionate to Height and Age as per Army medical standards

For Female Candidates

  • Height: Minimum 157 cm
  • Relaxation: 152 cm for candidates domiciled in the Eastern Himalayan Region – Sikkim, Manipur, Tripura, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Assam, and Indian Domicile Gorkhas.
  • Chest: Minimum expansion of 5 cm.
  • Weight: Proportionate to Height and Age as per Army medical standards.

  • Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.

How to Apply

The recruitment for mentioned Territorial Army units will be conducted from 15 Nov 25 to 14 Dec 25.

Documents Required

Candidates must carry the original certificates along with two attested photocopies of each.

Birth Certificate

  • Birth Certificate issued by the Registrar of Births and Deaths, or
  • 10th Class Board Certificate showing the date of birth.

Education Certificates

  • Certificates with mark sheets of all educational qualifications (Matric/Intermediate, etc.) from a recognized school/college/board/university.
  • Provisional online certificates must be certified and ink-signed by the head of the concerned institution.
  • Candidates with Matric certificates from Open School must bring the School Leaving Certificate countersigned by Block Education Officer (BEO) or District Education Officer (DEO).
  • Only certificates from education boards recognized by State/UT administrations (as per Appendix-C) will be accepted.
  • For 8th Class Pass candidates: both the mark sheet and transfer certificate must be countersigned by District Inspector of Schools/DEO.

Domicile Certificate

  • Issued by Tehsildar or District Magistrate, with the candidate’s photograph.

Caste / Tribe / Community Certificate

  • Issued by Tehsildar, Sub-Divisional Magistrate, or District Magistrate,
  • Must include a photograph of the candidate.

Religion Certificate

  • To be issued by Tehsildar or SDM,
  • Required only if religion (Sikh/Hindu/Muslim/Christian) is not mentioned in the caste certificate.

Character Certificate

  • Issued within the last six months by Village Sarpanch, Municipal Corporation, SHO, or Head of Educational Institution.

Married/Unmarried Certificate

  • Issued within the last six months by Village Sarpanch or Municipal Corporation.

Relationship Certificate (for candidates who are children of servicemen/ex-servicemen/war widows)

  • Relationship Certificate issued by the respective Record Office, duly signed.
