The Jammu & Kashmir Bank (JK Bank) has released an official notification for the engagement of 614 Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961. This recruitment is aimed at providing young graduates with practical training in banking operations across various districts of Jammu & Kashmir and other regions.

Vacancy Details (Total: 614)
The vacancies are distributed district-wise. Candidates are advised to apply for their respective home districts as the selection includes a local language proficiency check.

Outside J&K (Delhi, Mumbai, etc.): Limited vacancies for specific branches.
Eligibility Criteria (as of 01.01.2026)

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor’s Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a recognized University/Institute.

Candidates must have passed the qualifying examination on or before 01.01.2026.

Minimum: 20 Years

Maximum: 28 Years

Relaxation in upper age limit is applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates as per Govt. of India guidelines.

Local Language Proficiency:

The candidate should be proficient in the local language of the district applied for (Reading, Writing, and Speaking).

Stipend & Training Period

Duration: 1 Year (12 Months).

Stipend: ₹10,500 per month (Note: Apprentices are not eligible for any other allowances or benefits provided to regular employees).

Online Written Test: Objective type test covering:

Quantitative Aptitude

Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude

Language Proficiency Test: Conducted for those who do not have proof of studying the local language in 10th or 12th grade.

Merit List: Prepared district-wise based on performance in the online test.
